Chi Alpha New Orleans is made up of student organizations from specific New Orleans universities. However, there are also some full-time people who work to develop and advance the communities individually, and as a whole. These staff members are sometimes called pastors, or missionaries, but really try to just be servants.
Chi Alpha New Orleans Directors: Matt and Jen DeGier
Matt and Jen came to New Orleans to get Chi Alpha started in the summer of 2003, after completing a Chi Alpha internship at UL-Lafayette. They are both from the MidWest, originally, and met at North Central University in Minneapolis.
Matt enjoys reading, coffee, running, philosophy, theology, and other abstract heady stuff, as well as following college football, the MLS, and Detroit professional sports.

Jen enjoys reading, kittens, aerobics, camping, playing cards and board games galore, as well as stereotypical 'wife stuff' like sewing and baking.

ors: Josh and Rachel HarveyJosh and Rachel are on their way to New Orleans to take up the leadership of the Loyola chapter, as well as contributing to the city-wide Chi Alpha community. They are both from the Houston area and met at LSU. They have just completed the Diversity Project CMiT program.
