Saturday, November 17, Chi Alpha is going to be taking a van to Hammond, LA for the annual Renaissance Festival. For those you who are unfamiliar, the Renaissance Festival is an amazing real-life model of a 16th century village. There is jousting and shows and my personal favorite part, COSTUMES!!! I really hope several people can really get into the dressing up!For more info, their website is http://www.la-renfest.com/. The cost is going to be $14 per person.
This is the way registration is going to work: In order to sign up, you must email me at festival@nolaxa.com with your name, phone number, and email address, but nothing is final until we receive payment!
It’ll do fine to give payment to a satellite leader, the DeGiers, or Nicole Spade. All those who register through email will be given the opportunity to meet with someone in order to collect their payment. A confirmation email will be sent to each individual who registers and completes payment informing them of where and when to meet, what to bring, etc. In case of last minute plan changes, there will be a complete refund for those who notify ME, themselves, up to 24 hours in advance. If someone is interested in attending, but is unsure of what their plans for the day might include, it’s fine to register, submit their payment, and cancel as long as they send cancellation DIRECTLY to me at festival@nolaxa.com up to 24 hours of our departure time.
