Spring Break Outreach Trip to Washington, DC

Washington DC, the capital of the USA, hosts a vibrant Chi Alpha community, with chapters at American, Georgetown, Howard, and Gallaudet, as well as nearby campuses: U Maryland, and George Mason.

Tulane, Loyola, and UNO all share the same Spring Break this year! So, Chi Alpha New Orleans is planning an exciting trip to DC March 17-22. While there, we will meet and interact with, primarily, American XA, as well as Georgetown XA (hopefully), engage in outreach with the combined Christian ministries at American, engage in service to the DC homeless population, and take a day to tour the District.

The cost will be approximately $300 or less, and fundraisers will be employed.

Get your application and $100 deposit in by Jan 30th.

Build a Playground with Us

We're partnering with the MLK Jr. Week for Peace day of service: Outreach New Orleans, which is co-sponsored by Loyola, Xavier, Tulane, and Dillard this Saturday, the 19th.

We'll be building a KaBoom playground at Esperanza School. That's some serious fun and games.

Meeting time is 8am at Tulane's Newcomb Quad (need a ride?). We're supposed to be back by 3pm.
Lunch and drinking water provided.

the Gathering - Monday, 14 Jan @ 8pm - hosted at Tulane

Join us this coming Monday (Jan 14th) at Tulane's LBC Ball Room at 8:00 for our monthly, city-wide large group Gathering.

We'll have live music, and lots of groovy people.
We'll probably give away a fun prize or two, just because people like prizes :)
We'll have a lively discussion regarding why some people decide to devote their lives to following the Way of Jesus of Nazareth.

Thanks for dropping by our website. Chi Alpha is an international Christian campus ministry organization currently chartered on approximately 250 campuses nationally, and many locations in nations around the globe.

In New Orleans we have active chapters at Tulane, Loyola, and UNO where students gather for fun, for worship, for friendship, and for service: faith, community, and action. We are a diverse group from around the country, around the world, and from many different backgrounds: Christian and other.
